Alan W. Scott is a California native who has spent most of his life in the Southern California area,
rich in cultural, natural and widely varied artistic influence. A natural born artist, playing musical
instruments at will, working with his hands in woods and metals shops, and driven, it seems to apply his
meticulous crafting skills with his ability to understand detailed scientific means, to create an absolutely
stunning end. A work of craftsmanship and art that usually results in the audiences’ audible gasp when
they view his work for the first time.
Alan also has an amazing knack for discovery. He seems to move through barriers of knowledge and
experience as though they weren’t even there, picking up new skills and techniques that one would
typically expect to take years to master. He has achieved some very impressive results in areas
ranging from radio-controlled airplanes to computer programming, from music to art-glass, and most
recently he has focused on perfecting his woodworking talents.
Currently working from his studio in Orange County, CA, Alan has been busy creating one-of-a-kind,
heirloom quality treasures from the most beautiful and exotic woods on earth. If you are interested
in the finer things in life, whether you want to own them or simply admire them, you have found a great
place to start. Alan’s current production line-up includes humidors, music boxes, jewelry boxes and
men’s valets.
Having been childhood friends and knowing Alan for over thirty years I continue to be amazed by the
things he creates. I am happy to encourage anyone who may see something that Alan has made to take
action. I highly recommend that anyone who wants to own one of his creations act fast because even
as his close friend and having regular access to his works I have regrettably missed out on things I
truly wanted because I simply didn’t act fast enough. This is by no means “high-pressure sales”, I’m
just trying to tell you how to avoid missing out.
To see what some of Alan’s customers have said about him please see below. Lastly, and excitedly, I can’t wait to see what Alan W. Scott will create next.
Very Truly Yours,
Glen Bigler
